GONG XI FA CAI!

Preparing a trip to Celebrate Chinese New Year, going from Chengdu-Xi’an-Beijing, I’ve had some good times, since I started reading guides, visiting websites, asking el Chino Cliff, and contacting cool people that could help. One of those who is helping me out, is a travel agent that I got in the National Geographic Center for Sustainable Destinations.  And she’s been so kind that she completely explained me what can I do in Chengdu during these dates….

 

Here a bit of flavour of it:

 

…the train station start sell tickets start middle night,so every train tickets office in the downtown will have not chance to keep tickets to sell because this situation, and here in the office can book tickets from Chengdu to Xian only, can't sell tickets from Xian to Beijin.

    others: at the train station, there is round few hundreds of the blackmarket persons there, so when  every kind of busy tickets will sell, the tickets control by them already ,and they can [corperation] with the staff of tickets sometimes by the [special relationship], so normally, almost can't buy tickets successful at the station…

 

…about the celebrations of Chinese New year,there is a lot of special program in defrent park in Chengdu,especially famours in Wuhou temple in early morning, there is standard program about the special actor will take special traditional dress with Aciant Chinease style to make many defrent act show to welcom new year.in first day of New year( 29 morning),and you can going to have a look aciant street just besides of this templem in the evening,there is a lot of special Chengdu [local snakes to eat] and many of Chinese show and art things to enjoy, just  accross the street, there is Tibeten street area,you can enjoy there….

 

Definitely I’m looking forward to experience the Cold, Crowded and Crazy China in these days…
