High Stress with Paris of the East...

The other day I was discussing with Gitti about our existencial problems, and curiously one of the most recalled questions which I think sometimes we arrogantly asked is Where Should I go next???? As if it was a matter of high-stress and deep problems....

I remember once a professor at university told me what were the concerns of people outside on the streets of my town: they are concern on how to cover their basic hygiene needs on a day to day basis...whereas some of our colleagues at university and even some smart guys were in high stress levels on what to buy next for instance.

I'm totally aware of that fact, but what can YOU do for someone else' concerns? Can you solve everyone's problems and due to that fact become less arrogant when asking yourself these type of low deep/high stressful questions??

In order to distress my mind from this struggle, I come back to the excitiment of answering the most repeated question among nomadists: Where to go next?

I've met people answering this very often that they have even advanced in answering this question for the next 2 or 3 years! planning every single detail of their blessed by stress-itineraries!!!... that's a very good way to distress the mind for a couple of years!.... planning where to go with that much time in advance....

As good latino man together with some Romanian gang, which like to live present more than plan the future, EL HUARACHE will help me this time to distress my mind in PARIS OF THE EAST!....

We're carefully (meaning book, pack & go) planning the next destination with couple of friends to the country I just talked about: VIETNAM. But this time, we'll go to a much French influenced city: HANOI.

I just realized Vietnam is one of the few places where you go and don't have an aiesec contct to hang out for some beers... After being in Ho Chi Minh last week, I really hope there's some effort put into bringing the global movement into this booming economy with really warm people.

People that would have other type of stressful questions in life. With more than 50 ethnic groups Vietnam is THE place to explore from North to South. To start an intermitent journey of I hope several trips, Hanoi, the Paris of the East and Halong Bay, sounds like a good plan. Don't have any idea where to go, visit, see or do.

As I said, I don't want to bother myself with too many stressful questions, knowing that there are more important questions to ask. However, let's see how this trip can distress our minds a little bit.
